"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

The Harry Potter Original Character Club - a club where members of deviantArt can display fan characters they have modeled for the extensive wizarding world JK Rowling has given to us. These are characters used in RPGs, fanfictions or to simply exist so that their bored or inspired creators have something to draw. We know alot of work can go into characters like these, so here is a chance to show them off. Learn something new! Find a good RPG! Join and display your love of Harry Potter, not only through fanart but through fan characters!

Rules:
Sorry! It's necessary that you read these first. A good club must have rules, afterall.
-Use common sense, please. Treat others as you would like to be treated, no harassing others, no spamming the front page and all that, you know.
-Any pictures (or prose) submitted or linked cannot contain nudity of any sort.
-If you want to comment on a picture, then please go the artist's gallery and do it. They would probably appreciate it more.
-Your character cannot be related to any existing Potter character. This is considered, by our standards, Mary Sue.
-Please no original schools or too far-fetched (Mary Sue) characters.
-Make sure you read the joining info.

How to go about joining:
We're assuming you have an original character to begin with, so it's really quite simple. Send the club a note stating that you would like to join, and link us to a picture of your original Potter character. One character only, please, and the one you use or draw most often. Please include their full name, what house they are/were in or what school they attend(ed). We have the right to turn your character down.
Watch the club!
Oh, and if you like...you can add a link to the club to your signature or link us in your gallery. It would be greatly appreciated.
How to go about submitting:
Send a note to the club with a link to the picture or whatever you would like to have submitted. We can take care of it from there! (Assuming you followed the rules.) You CAN submit pictures of characters beside your main, especially if the club begins running short on submissions.
Concerning links:
Do you want your RPG linked from here? You know the drill. Send a note and we'll gladly link you so long as the RPG is appropriate.
